CREON Software was founded in 1989 to offer a fast, accurate and reliable contract analysis service to the academic and industrial communities. The US-American subsidiary CREON Software Inc. in Mt. Lakes was established in 1996. Just a few years later a new development office was opened in Brasov, Romania.
LabControl was founded in 1991 with the vision of a decentralized, spectroscopic computing system. In the following years, LabControl emerged as a leader in the development of spectroscopic workstations, spectroscopic database software, and Internet/Intranet solutions.
In 2000, CREON Software and LabControl merged to form a new company, CREON LAB CONTROL AG. With the merger of the two companies, a full service software development and consulting firm was established, offering a complete spectrum of integrated IT solutions and services in the areas of cheminformatics and bioinformatics.
